Capturing screen images of your charts can be very helpful in keeping a "journal".
To capture a chart image, you don’t need any screen capture software. None. The feature is built-in to NinjaTrader. Just Right-Click on the chart, then near the bottom of the popup menu, select "Save As Image…", then choose PNG in the "Save As Type".
We recommend that you save the chart image in PNG format. The JPG format loses a LOT of details and colors.

PNG format is by far the best quality image.
You will also probably want to change the File Name. I prefer to remove the "$" and the "(1 Range)" part of the file name, and add a number sequence to the end.
I also prefer file names that do not have spaces in them. So, I’ll usually replace spaces with an underline "_". And, I like dates that have zeros in front of them (so March is 03, July is 07).
So, let’s say I had just made my third trade for the day on a EUR/JPY. My file name might look like EURJPY_03_31_2010_3.png
Some people may prefer to use a different format. That’s fine, They’re your files. Just make sure you can find them. 
Marking a Chart with Arrows
You can mark your trades in NinjaTrader by Right-Clicking on a chart, then selecting "Drawing Tools/Chart Marker", and then selecting the marker you desire (arrow, triangle, etc). A better way is to use your keyboard.
You’ll notice from that popup menu that you can also press Alt-F2 to mark a trade as a "buy" (with a green up arrow), and press Alt-F3 to mark it as a sell (with a red down arrow).
Of course, you’ll have one up and one down arrow for each trade you take.
We recommend that you ONLY mark your charts AFTER you have completed your trade.
And, in case you’re wondering…. no, Logical Forex does NOT automatically draw these arrows on your chart. Keep reading, and you’ll have a complete understand on why we don’t do that… but a summary is… YOU are in control of your trades… not some "mathematical guess"… which will NEVER be as good as a professional Logical Forex trader.
