This is likely something you will have to get used to, or change your datafeed. (We have an separate FAQ on changing a datafeed).
After a while, you will get used to this "lag".
Here’s why…
The Logical Forex Indicators on the chart are giving you "advanced warning" of a potential upcoming trade.
When you see this developing…YOU MUST SHIFT YOUR EYES TO THE BROKER TRADE EXECUTION PANEL and begin go pay most (maybe ALL) of your attention there.
Why? Because that is where all of the "action" is occurring…NOT on the chart.
The chart lags on EVERY broker…whether we’re going through NinjaTrader or even the broker’s platform. Think about it…the chart HAS to lag behind the actual price. There are many things the computer must do in order to display the price on the chart (well, anywhere actually, but especially on the chart where it is drawing lines and making many calculations to do so). In your broker’s trade execution panel, though, about all they are doing is displaying a price and "grabbing your clicks".
So, when you see a trade setting up…shift your eyes to mainly focus on the broker trade execution panel…while having the chart in your "side view". Then, if price goes in the direction that you have determined is the highest probability trade…then CLICK THE BUTTON to enter the trade. The same is true (and maybe even moreso) on exiting a trade…use your broker’s trade execution platform to make sure and have control over your trade.
